cartas de amor a mis catalunaticos

Eclipsed desire

Posted in Uncategorized by Brian Russell on 21 December 2010

Despite the clouds I saw the moon get darker. I was so inspired i wrote a love poem. hope you are having a clear night and can see the earth’s shadow cross the moon.

My passion for you shines bright.

Brightest at night
a reflection both ancient and changing.
Like the tide, bitter, salty and full of life,
sticky and lusty – my heart’s rearranging.

So beloved are you, so sweet and so kind,
So awash in the vale of juicy delight am I,
That just to know that we share the same moonlight,
Can squeeze beads up out of my eyes.

And after you kiss them dry and hold me tight,
and warm me upon your bare breast
The beat of our hearts can guide me beyond
any tempest of fear and unrest

To a place where both – no, ALL! – of us are whole
and every nook of the soul is at peace,
a land beyond perfection, just what is is is
complete complete complete

And renewed with strength to face the gale
I see an angel in every cell of the jail
I embrace the now as the truth and set sail
calm certain that love will prevail

Fare thee well, my mirror, you fiesty foxess
teacher and lover, brilliant cloudparting ray.
Be well dear friend, till we meet again,
no distance can keep me away.
